Digital Marketing Using Visuals

Digital Marketing to promote a service, a brand or a company requires a well focused approach and clear cut strategy. Although you can devise a strategy and restrict yourself to one major platform... here we are talking about a comprehensive approach. 

Albeit SEO is part of digital marketing here we are not keeping it in the picture. Ranking and indexing is not the subject matter in this blog entry. Neither are we discussing CPC here. 

Visuals are one of the most effective medium in digital marketing this is fortified by contents in a different formats. By visuals we mean infographic and images, charts, drawings and sketches and also videos which are a combination of audio-visuals. 

The visuals as a matter of fact are a means of communication and messaging in a medium. They should not be cardboard cutouts of the product or a company logo like in case of a wall painting. On the digital platforms the visuals should deliver a message and information worthy of a brand or company.

In online marketing using visuals it is imperative to communicate. The conversation could be about a product, service, company or a brand. And this has to be done using a combination of visual and content in various short formats such as sayings, captions, two liner phrases etc. Even rhymes and riddles work. It is creativity that has to be at its best.

In case of videos the content is replaced by audio message and sometimes music. But for business purpose audio message is more effective. Hence marketing in social networking sites is most effective whence visuals are combined by effective content.   

Combination of media is also an effective strategy like pushing long form blog post with short custom designed visuals. But the long form blog post must carry information in anecdotal and engaging form since few read posts with more than a thousand words. In order to engage one needs to effectively use visuals. Yes in digital marketing strategy it is essential to make optimum use of visuals in order to get best results.
