Content Marketing is literally producing large swathes of interesting and related contents using various medium like blogs, articles and sites that allow inserts in shape of images, infographic or videos. It is possible to insert charts and presentation as well.    

Why add attributes mentioned above to promote content or send a message? 

Well we have to consider attention span of the readers which on the Net is much wanting. Yes visitors to websites and blogs often skip through the content if they find it overtly verbose. This is often the case in case of amateur writers. Writing on sites should be precise and up to the point with relevancy being maintained all along.  Even if you follow all the good points of content creation many reader would still hesitate reading the whole. On Net people fade out fast and usually scroll or skip through contents. 



Some interested readers read like the lawyers search for the main points get the essence and that's it. But writers specially those into search engine optimization (SEO) and content marketing which is part of Digital Marketing wish that visitors would read all through. 

Hence we should add attributes that engage visitors in a write ups. They make the content quality based and hence authoritative. These are ideal additions to content wrapped link building articles as well. Example: E-Book platforms are most suited for content marketing and it is easy to add these attributes to the write ups.   

Adding Images

A picture is equal to a thousand words literally speaking. Yes in order to increase readability of a write up we would add relevant pictures that as a productive part add meaning to the content or further it. The images besides adding information also adds colors which is the best visual attraction and hence engage readers or potential customers. It is very important that images relate to the topic else they will dilute the impact of content. Optimize images make them light without losing the resolution. Use alt text to optimize them. Do not add image for the sake of it they should be related and convey what the reader wants to find out. 

Add Videos       

There are two benefits of adding videos in the content. One is adding an engaging medium and second is video promotion. Yes videos are more explanatory and nearly displace the write ups...well. That is what a good video should do. For articles highlighting products as brand advertisements, or professional acumen or a property and what not, videos add muscle to the write ups and bolster the content. They can be informative or explanatory as well. They are the right tool to engage and attract  readers. Visual brand promotion or product image/description, personal presentation on videos go a long way in enhancing online reputation. Videos are relatively cheap and easy to host. If you use platforms like YouTube or Vimeo or other company they can be easily inserted in write ups especially in blogs.    


       

Adding Infographic, Memes, Illustrations and Presentations  

All above boils down to adding additional but relevant information though less in text they nevertheless provide valuable comparisons, scalability, and picture speak without fail. These are a must in case of long form content where in detail information or description is added.
